Laura (5) and I were playing together this afternoon and it's customary for our family to play "Ophans" ~ don't ask me why ~ maybe it's because homeschooled children tend to read more real, (twaddle-free) historical books in their spare time than the average American child and it happens to be her older sister's favorite past time. Who knows....
Anyway, she was Victoria (14) and I was Sylvia (16). As we began to chat/play I asked in an English accent, "Oh Victoria, isn't sad that our parents perished in the fire?".....to which she replied:
"Well, at least WE survived and have all of our stuffed animals!!!"
~ROFL ~
I love five year olds.
